SHARPENING SERVICES
Clipper Blades - Horse & Dog blades
All blades are disassembled, cleaned, put on the honing machine for sharpening, once satisfied the blades are sharpened they are cleaned again, oiled and reassembled ready for use.
Prices for sharpening clipper blades:
Large clipper blade – £8 per set
Small trimmer blades (A5) – £7 per set
Livestock clipper blade – £3 per set
*Please Note
Due to there being many different makes and models of horse clippers we are unable to test all clipper blades after sharpening. We can currently test all A5 snap on blades with our Aesculap small clipper using artificial fur. We are unable to test livestock blades.
Scissors
We offer a full scissor sharpening service. Here is what is included in your scissor service:
Visual checks of your scissor to see if there are any damages, Using dedicated equipment and specialist machines we are able to sharpen dog grooming scissors, hair-dressing scissors, dressmaking/Embroidery scissors. All scissors that can be stripped apart are stripped apart during the service. We are also able to apply new micro serrations to the blade where needed. Scissors are polished, cleaned and lubricated The scissors are balanced and undergo a cut test

Dog Grooming Scissors £10.00
Hairdressing/Barbers Scissors £15.00
Upholstery/Tailoring Scissors £8.00
Household Scissors £5.00
Knives
We can sharpen your kitchen, bread and serrated knives. We can also repair small nicks in your knife.
Our prices are £0.50 per inch for knife sharpening.
